OpenApply Workshop Vienna: Recap

On October 13th, 2017 we held our first ever OpenApply Workshop at Vienna International School in Austria.  We were thrilled to welcome over 40 participants that represented a total of 22 schools. Attendees were all OpenApply users, allowing everyone to share innovative practices and creative strategies both for admissions in general and for running their process in OpenApply. Workshop topics included The Parent Experience, Managing Re-Enrolment, Processing Applications and more. You can find the full list of presentations here We were fortunate to have Peter Murphy, Director at VIS, and Catalina Gardescu, Admissions Manager at American International School of Bucharest speak to their respective positions. Peter addressed the aspects of the relationship between leadership and the admissions team while providing insight into the past, present, and future of VIS's mission to go truly paperless across the entire school, starting with admissions. Catalina gave the participants a look inside AISB's admissions process while explaining the changing perceptions of both staff and parents.
