How does the integration with Finalsite work?
Data collected from enquiries and applicants in OpenApply flows into Finalsite to be used by Finalsite’s Inbound Marketing tools including Messages and Automated Email Workflows. Schools can then use this data to complete targeted outreach to prospective families based on a number of criteria such as stage in the funnel, year level, location, and more. You can also use logic so that if a prospective family engages with certain content, you can further customise the next content sent.
This year we invested in the OpenApply-Finalsite integration as our first venture into marketing automation. The integration meant that anyone who inquired about our school through OpenApply would be sent a series of emails via our Messages Workflow in Finalsite. This saved many staff hours that would have been spent emailing prospects individually. The integration also gave us the analytics tools in Finalsite messaging so that we could monitor and optimize our campaign performance. Best of all, we are seeing a 9% increase in inquiry to applicant conversion over last year!
