ICS Addis and AISA Professional Learning Institute 2023

It was an honor for the International Community School of Addis Ababa to host a Professional Learning Institute for school advancement in Addis Ababa in November 2023. This year's conference fell on a weekend, which made it more convenient for many schools to attend the two-day deep-dive session. The yearly conference provides opportunities to discuss the most common challenges in the area, to share ideas, and develop new ways of managing data to further enhance the tasks in admissions, communications and advancement. The workshop was attended by 29 participants from 14 different schools this year, all members of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA). The sessions started off with a brief introduction among the attendees and the schedules were laid out. The sessions were meant to create new connections and develop a strong AISA network.
