For the past four years this is how most introductions have gone.

How did I get to this point? What aspects of my life experiences and professional education brought me to this role and to this being my main form of introduction?

How It Started

As a student in an international school, I remember the joy of learning something new at every break time through humorous conversations with friends from various cultures and parts of the world. During those moments, I found a sense of belonging as an international school student at Westwood International School in Botswana.

In November 2014, my sixteen classmates and I gathered in our school theater and hugged each other goodbye as we threw our graduation caps in the air, screaming ‘IB DONE’. We all soaked this moment in. We knew the world awaited us, but this was a ‘moment for life’, one in which we had all cried, grown and laughed to get to.
