Awareness of and access to AI has increased dramatically in the last two years. How far along is your school and your team in the process of adapting to this new reality?

KNS: Our school and team are enthusiastically embracing the new reality of technological advancements, particularly in the realm of AI and digital tools, and having a bit of fun along the way! A highlight in admissions is the expansion of our virtual horizons with increased use of online engagement tools.

We’re excited about exploring more ways to integrate AI and digital tools into our curriculum and operations. Our goal is to keep adapting and evolving to provide the best possible educational experience. We’re thrilled about the journey ahead and the endless possibilities that come with embracing this new reality.

When cell phones came out, schools thought about ways to ban them from campus. In contrast, AISCT looked at embracing technology and even social media. As a result, the Grade 1 and 2 classes have an iPad bank to use for specific lessons, Grade 3-8 students are required to bring their own iPads, and Grades 9-12 their own MacBooks for activities, research, emails, notifications, and assignments through Google Classroom.
