On June 14, the OpenApply team held our fourth professional development event of the year – a regionally-focused user group in London, United Kingdom. The event, which took place at Hampton School in Greater London, was very well received, with the post-event survey revealing that 100% of delegates would like to join our upcoming events. We were thrilled to welcome 39 delegates from 28 schools across the UK.
The event was designed to help experienced OpenApply users to maximise the full potential of the system while having the opportunity to discuss unique or shared challenges, compare insights and collaborate as a community of admissions, marketing and advancement professionals.
A variety of talking points, from the incorporation of new features into admissions workflows, through to navigating challenges and opportunities with enhanced communication, data and analytics, contributed to an abundance of inspiring content and ideas. The OpenApply team demonstrated how key outcomes could be effectively achieved and facilitated practical activities to encourage collaboration. We also gathered valuable product feedback and looked ahead at exciting upcoming developments on the product roadmap.
In addition to the sessions, the attendees enjoyed the networking opportunities, with active group discussions and one-on-one chats. You can find some video highlights from the event below:
