Last week, the OpenApply team held our third professional development event of the year – a regionally-focused workshop in Tokyo, Japan. The workshop, which took place on May 27, 2024 at The British School in Tokyo – Azabudai Hills Campus, was very well received, with the post-event survey revealing that 95% of delegates would like to join our upcoming events. We were thrilled to welcome 37 delegates from 23 schools in 4 countries.
The event was designed to empower delegates to maximise the full potential of OpenApply while having the opportunity to discuss unique or shared challenges, compare insights and collaborate as a community of OpenApply users. Our friend and partner Heidi Reid also joined us to share specialist regional knowledge.
A variety of talking points, from the incorporation of new features into admissions workflows, through to navigating challenges and opportunities with enhanced communication, data and analytics, contributed to an abundance of inspiring content and ideas. The OpenApply team, led by Matt Craig (Manager, Sales and Accounts), Ranley Kuo (Senior Solutions Consultant), Nardia Chi and Christine Yo (Customer Support Representatives), demonstrated how these outcomes could be effectively achieved. The team also gathered product feedback and looked ahead at upcoming developments on the product roadmap.
In addition to the presentations and workshops, the attendees enjoyed the networking opportunities, with active group discussions and one-on-one chats.
